El próximo jueves 11 de julio, a partir de las 10.00h, se celebrará el acto de presentación de NASA SpaceAPPS Gijón 2024 en el AS5 HUB - Parque Tecnológico de Gijón. Por primera vez, la ciudad asturiana será sede de este evento, posicionándose como un nuevo hub de la innovación aeroespacial. El encuentro incluirá el lanzamiento del proyecto y una charla inspiradora en remoto a cargo de Marcus Watkins, Director de la Oficina de Gestión de la NASA, quien hablará sobre la importancia de la innovación aeroespacial para abordar los grandes desafíos actuales, tanto sociales como empresariales.

Además, Oscar Sala (CEO de Nasa SpaceAPPS Spain) presentará el programa Hackathon NASA Space Apps, en el que destacan: la importancia de la capacitación STEAM (Ciencia, Tecnología, Ingeniería y Matemáticas), la capacidad de respuesta que ofrece el programa de la NASA y la gran oportunidad que representa para el ecosistema empresarial; y el desarrollo del talento y la innovación aeroespacial.
